It’s that time of year where we ask for hosts for Open Houses for next year. The calendar is completely open at this time. Remember, you don’t have to have a completed railroad to host an Open House, Heck, you don’t have to have a railroad at all. Open Houses are an opportunity for our club members to get together to share ideas, give unsolicited advice, and talk about their trains! It’s all about having fun!

If you can host an Open House, please let Chuck Klein (ckleinphd@gmail.com) know (1) the month; (2) the date; (3) the time. If you only know the month but not the date and time yet, that’s okay, just let him know.

Our Open Houses are either on a Saturday or Sunday and are usually from 12-3, or 12-4, or 1-4; the day and time is up to the host. The Board of Directors likes to have a Board meeting the hour prior to the start of the Open House.

After you host an Open House you will be given a check for $75 to help offset the cost of refreshments.
