Timesaver Switching Puzzle
This classic switching track plan is simple and has been enjoyed by many since its introduction by John Allen in 1972.
The following numbers show how many cars can fit on that particular track.
Operation:
In the pictures below, the locomotive is the orange box starting in the “middle”.
The goal is to put the cars in the starting order below (pic 1) while using the least moves and time to get to the “ending” locations (pic 2).
This timesaver switching design is a wonderful addition to any layout.
